“ Very nice place to set in, and nicely decorated. We tried the croissant and gluten free berry cake, which were delicious. The coffee also good. ”
“ Really love the vibe. Classy, and plenty of room. They offer table service for both the cafe and cocktails. Can get a little noisy once busy. Has some limited seating outside as well, which is great when the weather is good. ”
“ Coffee was excellent, staff were friendly and helpful. There were spaces for work or study. The ambiance looks nice and a bit fancy, you wouldn’t believe their coffee price is still decent! ”
“ Nice place, quiet and relaxing. The service was great and drinks delicious. I ordered turmeric cinnamon . ”
“ I had a few hours to spend while waiting for my train to come back to London so decided to find a cute local cafe to go to then I found Mayvn cafe. You wouldn’t know it’s there from outside! It’s like a hidden spot I would say. The decoration is very nice and cozy. I went there on Friday in the afternoon and it was BUSY! I got their salted caramel brownie and matcha latte with hazelnut syrup and they were SO GOOD. Would definitely go back to try more. It seems like a good place to have working-at-a-cafe day with good drinks and pastries. ”
“ I would like to express my deep admiration for Mayvn Cafe in Edinburgh. From the moment I walked in, I felt the warmth of the place and the attention to detail. The atmosphere is cozy, the design is elegant and calm, and the background music adds an indescribable touch of serenity. As for the coffee—simply some of the best I’ve ever had! The flavors are perfectly balanced, the roast is just right, and you can clearly sense the team’s passion in every cup. And the pastries... absolutely irresistible! The staff are professional, friendly, and treat visitors like valued guests rather than just customers. This combination of quality and genuine hospitality is what makes Mayvn Cafe truly unforgettable. Thank you for such a wonderful experience. I’ll definitely be coming back again and again. ”
“ Lovely cafe inside the Eden Locke Hotel. There is great service and a good selection of both drinks and breakfast. We tried the cream cheese bagel and cheese and Serrano ham croissant and both of them where really good. Both of us hade the orange juice and its was good, we like that it were served with ice. The smoothie of the day was a tropical one and it was also great. Friendly staff and fast service. The only negative is that sometimes it can be hard to find a table. ”
“ Great atmosphere, lovely service with good prices. Will definitely go back when I visit Edinburgh again. Bought a dark hot chocolate which was outstanding ”
